Fathers Day

The girls have been so cute today constantly telling daddy Happy Father's Day. I love hearing their tiny little voices exclaim this little phrase as if it is the best day in the world. It was fun taking them to figure out what little something we could get for him to let him know he is loved. My favorite of all, however, was watching Ashlyn march up to the podium area at the front of the chapel with a huge smile on her face as she stumbled through the words of the Father's Day song the primary were singing. Some words she knew others she made up or smiled through. Oh how much we love our Daddy for his loving example and for his deep love for our children. Stewart our children have been given such a wonderful Father figure and we do thank you for being our "Daddy"!

Tender Mercies

Fathers Day always chokes me up! In our family it was always a great time to show appreciation for our parents and I always had a deep respect for them both. Of course since Dad isn't here to share my feelings with I often think about what I would say if he were and on more then one occasion he has let me know that he is near me when I need him. I guess he must know that I need a visual or an emotional string pulled to believe he is around. Last night as I was cleaning up some of the church books that the girls had taken out of the book case, mind you for the millionth time. I noticed a folded up stapled stack of papers. When I opened it to see where its home was, it happened to be the last stake conference meeting schedule in which my Dad had attended with full blown "Mike Hancock" chicken scratch and all, it was dated May 18-19 2002. I am so grateful for the tender mercies I have been given and so grateful for a father who still is concerned and is near me, even if we are a world away. To some that may not have been much, but to me, another reminder that we are not far from each other. Happy Fathers Day Dad!

Bedtime

As the girls were getting ready for bed tonight I thought about their cousins who said they would miss seeing them at bedtime and their morning wake up. I will try and capture their raw form for the early morning photo, but I thought it would be fun to post their bedtime hair. We love you guys and are so grateful for all of your help!

23 week Doctor's Appointment

Baby at 12 weeks pregnant

Baby at 19 weeks pregnant

face forward

Well, I promised everyone an update when we got them and unfortunately or maybe for our family we should say "Fortunately" we have no new news. I am measuring right on target and "baby boy" is movin' and a groovin' just like always. I am sure most of you will be happy to hear that I already weigh more then I ever did with both the girls and started out the same weight with all 3. No secret heartbeat here he is obviously moving around. The next follow up is in 4 weeks and then again 2 weeks after that and from then on out every two weeks until the arrival. I have posted my favorite ultrasound pictures for you all to see

Swimming Lessons

Swimming lessons have been going now for a week and the girls are loving it! We are going to take another session next week again to keep up their learning skills. When we first started Ryleigh would hardly put her face in the water and Ashlyn was skeptical the whole time. Now they are jumping right in and enjoying being the little fish we know them to be.

Belly News

I figured this was the best way to keep people up to date on how our pregnancy is going. It has been a rocky road but we are anxious to have this little boy home. Still we have no name picked out, but Ashlyn Has decided his name will be: "Handy Manny Mokio". Well this is how I am looking at 5 1/2 Months...just a couple more to go. I will post a picture every month and hopefully keep you all up to date.

Memorial Weekend Camping Trip

Our Family was able to go camping this past Memorial Day weekend with my Hancock side of the family and we had a great time. We weren't sure how our little princess' would do but by the end as you can see, they fit right in. Thanks for such a great time. We miss and love you all!

Ashlyn's Graduation

Well we finally have our little blog up and running...so we have some catching up to do. Ashlyn Graduated her first year of Preschool on May 17, 2007. She was so proud of her accomplishments and she really loved "Growing up". She tells us everyday how she is getting bigger and bigger. As glad as I am that she is turning into my little buddy, I am struggling with her growing up so quickly. We are so excited for her new endeavors (ie: swimming lessons, music lessons...and new princess adventures). We love you Ashy!
